Profile

Cúla Búla

Irish Folk • Trad • Americana • Songs You Know and Love

Cúla Búla are a lively three-piece acoustic band from the Irish Midlands, bringing together Irish folk and traditional music, Americana and a great selection of well-known songs from across the decades.

Featuring two acoustic guitars, whistle, bodhrán and harmonica, Cúla Búla create the warm, energetic atmosphere of a great Irish session while offering a repertoire that reaches well beyond traditional music.

Our sets can move from Irish favourites and lively folk songs to music by artists such as John Prine, Bruce Springsteen, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Animals, Christy Moore, Luka Bloom, Ray LaMontagne, and more, along with plenty of familiar songs that get people singing along.

Cúla Búla are:

Andrew — vocals, guitar & harmonica
Ken — vocals & guitar
Sid — vocals, whistle & bodhrán

We particularly enjoy playing events where the audience becomes part of the night. Rather than simply performing in the background, we like to create a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and gradually get the whole room involved.

Perfect for

Wedding Day 2 celebrations, birthday parties, anniversaries, family gatherings, corporate and staff events, pubs, festivals and private functions.

We can tailor the performance to suit the occasion, from a relaxed acoustic set through to a lively evening of singalong favourites.

Based in the Midlands and available for bookings throughout Westmeath, Meath, Longford, Kildare, Offaly, Dublin and further afield by arrangement.
