Biography:
GARAGE, a multi-genre musical consortium anchored by a rock 'n roll core, is based in Dublin, Ireland, Arlington, Texas, and Los Angeles, California. The single 'Redemption Road', and tracks recorded at Dublin's Windmill Lane and Soul Attic Studios will be featured on GARAGE' second album RESISTANCE!, to be released in September 2026. The consortium includes Derrick Anderson, bass player with Marshall Crenshaw, The Bangles, The Smithereens and the Wild Honey Orchestra. Charlie Travis initially established GARAGE, as a project to spend time with his son Senan (K.E.Y.S.) a piano player and flutist with the Artane Music Band in Dublin, Ireland. The name reflects the first band he formed in his parents' garage in Toledo, Ohio. Charlie Travis is a journeyman musician (a guitar and bass player with the Toledo Public School Candy Johnson All-City Jazz Band, college indie bands Acoustic Front and The Relics, and with the trad-Irish band Steve Carroll and the Bograts at Jimmy Condon's Pub, in Charleston, South Carolina. Most recently GARAGE has performed at Dick Mack's Pub in Dingle, Ireland and with the Billy Law Open-Mic Crew in Arlington, Texas). GARAGE A.KA. Soul Attic Studios is a project that manifests as a both solo and ensemble act creating a multi-genre sound by playing original songs with a rock 'n roll core.
