The Sugar Mountain boys is a duo consisting of Des Walsh (Guitar, Vocals) and Joe Gorman (Bass, Vocals).

Des (Mad Scientist, retired) and Joe (International Man of Mystery) have both gained extensive experience as solo and band musicians over the part several decades. They met at Arva Music Club, and first played as a duo for a one-off charity gig in 2025, but have now decided to go with more regular gigging in 2026.

The Sugar Mountain Boys cover hit songs from the 1950s right up to the 2020s, across many genres such as country, pop, folk, and rock. Sample set-lists are available, and if you have a special song that you would like to request, The Sugar Mountain Boys will give it their best shot!
